Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the Maxify calculator, admin tools, or any proposal we generate, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. What we provide

• An interactive sizing and quoting tool for residential solar, battery storage, roofing, and EV charger installations.
• Generated proposals and §7159-compliant Home Improvement Contracts for review and signature.
• Integration with approved installers who handle the physical installation.

Quotes are non-binding until both parties sign a verified contract issued by an approved installer with valid CSLB license, bond, and insurance on file. Estimates are based on public records, your inputs, and industry-standard assumptions; actual results may vary.

3. Accounts

• Installer accounts require admin approval and a valid CSLB license. You’re responsible for everything done under your login.
• Guest sessions let you self-serve a quote. The lead is routed to an approved installer for follow-up.

4. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the service for anything illegal.
• Don’t scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass security controls.
• Don’t impersonate another person or installer.
• Don’t upload content that infringes IP or contains malware.

5. Fees

The calculator and proposal generation are free for end customers. Installer accounts may incur subscription or per-deal fees per a separate agreement.

6. Warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Estimates and savings projections are not guarantees of system performance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maxify Energy / HDM Capital LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US$100 if no fees were paid.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction lies in the state and federal courts of San Diego County, California.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post the new version. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
